Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival on the Red Sea

After arriving in Jeddah and checking into our hotel, we'll begin exploring the city's fascinating sites. We'll visit the Museum Without Borders, the first interactive digital art museum of its kind in the Middle East. It features 80 works of art that interact with visitors and each other, creating a world without borders. Next, we'll head to the Old City, where we'll stroll through the picturesque streets, experiencing local culture and admiring the unique coral architecture. We'll marvel at the intricately decorated facades of the Rawashin and Mashrabiya churches, the ornate wooden balconies, and the bustling souks. While wandering the charming streets of historic Jeddah, we'll also visit one or two of the eight historic houses located in the Old City and the old Al Shafei Mosque. Free time at the Gabel Souq. Return to the hotel.

Day 2 | Historic Jeddah

At 8:30 AM, we'll head to the world-famous House of Islamic Art, a journey into its historical heritage where we'll discover 15 centuries of breathtaking Islamic art and culture, thanks to a collection of 1,000 artifacts. We'll uncover stories that shaped the past and continue to inspire the future. This site encompasses four specialized museums and six wings, including the ancient trade routes between Mecca and Medina, and the Al-Shifaa Museum, which focuses on pioneering Muslim medicine and surgery. After three hours of discovering art and admiring the buildings' incredible architecture, we'll return to the hotel, where you'll have the opportunity to spend your time as you please. Jeddah offers a wide range of leisure activities. We'll provide detailed information on these. The city boasts four main gates, eight historic houses, four interesting museums, and four mosques open to tourists. There are also five squares and gardens, six bazaars, eight recommended cafes, and an incredible number of restaurants, including three historic ones. You can also discover a shopping paradise at the Mall of Arabia and the Red Sea Mall. In the evening, we'll head to the promenade. We'll stroll along Jeddah's waterfront and listen to the sound of the calm waves. We'll see the spectacular King Fahd Fountain – a marvel that shoots water 312 meters into the sky. You can also enjoy the numerous restaurants scattered along the promenade, which have received very high reviews from visitors, or sample the most delightful international dishes at Maillard prepared by Saudi chefs or sample Bafarat snacks along the way. Next to the magnificent Jeddah Yacht Club, we'll visit one of Jeddah's most iconic landmarks – the Floating Mosque. The mosque was built in 1985 on the water's surface, with its foundations placed beneath the sea. Its bright white color and turquoise dome create a magnificent scene, especially when the sun shines on it, reflecting the beauty of the architecture. We'll also see the Formula 1 circuit—the fastest street circuit ever seen in Formula 1, boasting the most corners (27). The Saudi Arabian Grand Prix takes place at night on a 6.175-kilometer track illuminated by floodlights. Its length is second only to the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium.
